Ski & Snowboard Hire

Pre-booking your ski hire before departure means your equipment will be ready for collection on your arrival in resort. Ski hire shops usually open early on Sundays and Mondays, as these are the days after changeover day in the resort.

Different categories of ski equipment

Holiday operators typically offer ski and snowboard hire suited to a broad range of ages and abilities. The equipment is available to you to hire during your holiday at an added cost, and most also offer boots to accompany your ski hire. Kit hire is typically divided up into the following categories, with separate sections for kids and adults.
Beginner
Intermediate
Advanced
Expert

In-chalet option

Some ski hire companies go one step further and offer in-chalet equipment fitting services, though this does depend on your resort and accommodation choices.

Changing your rented equipment

If you would like to change the skis/snowboard or boots you have hired, please speak in the first instance to the ski hire company in resort. Under most circumstances, in-resort ski hire companies have no problem is changing rented equipment, though please be aware that upgrading to better kit can incur costs.
