April is just around the corner and yet more snow has fallen across popular ski resorts in the Alps. For anyone considering a dash to slopes over the Easter holidays, we look at some of the destinations currently enjoying tip-top conditions.

Updated: 28th March at 1pm.

Espace Killy

The lofty slopes of Tignes saw 70cm of the white stuff over the weekend, while its lively neighbour Val d’Isère received 25cm. Snow depths are currently a healthy 80cm on the lower slopes and 210cm around the peaks.

Three Valleys

Val Thorens, Europe’s highest ski resort, received 40cm of fresh snow on Sunday, bolstering depths to 130cm at resort level and 230cm up top. At the other end of the Three Valleys, Courchevel benefited from 17cm to boost depths to 176cm around the peaks, and conditions remain wonderful in Méribel with snow depths up to 182cm.

Elsewhere in France

The resorts of Les Deux Alpes and Serre Chevalier both saw 20cm over the weekend, while La Plagne and neighbouring Les Arcs received 15cm and 10cm respectively. Across all four resorts, and other high-altitude destinations like Chamonix, Flaine, Alpe d'Huez and La Rosière, snow depths remain fantastic.

Zermatt / Cervinia

The ever-fashionable Swiss resort of Zermatt saw 30cm of fresh snow on Sunday, and depths are currently sitting around 180cm up top. Its Italian neighbour Cervina has received a superb 75cm over the past 7 days, ensuring that conditions remain brilliant in the family-friendly ski town.

Elsewhere in the Alps

Looking further afield in Italy, the cruisy intermediate slopes of Sauze d’Oulx benefited from 40cm of fresh snow over the weekend. The traditional Swiss village of Saas Fee, meanwhile, has received 33cm in the past week.

While Austrian resorts haven’t seen fresh powder in the last few days, our favourite destinations are still in brilliant shape following snowfalls over the past fortnight. Depths in the vibrant resort of St Anton are sitting at 200cm up top, the peaks of Lech have around 155cm and depths in Solden range up to a superb 274cm.
