Resort Ehrwald Resort Ehrwald Resort Ehrwald

Description

The Austrian resort of Ehrwald sits close to the border between Germany and Austria, at an altitude of 994 metres above sea level. Located at the base of the Zugspitze mountain in the Tiroler Zugspizt Arena, Ehrwald is a charming and welcoming little ski resort popular in the winter for skiers, and in the summer for its extensive hiking and biking trails.

During the winter months, visitors to the slopes above Ehrwald can select from three different areas to explore; the Ehrwalder Alm, the Wetterstein and the Zugspitze Glacier. Cross country skiers enjoy the high mountain trails across the Ehrwald Alm, and down in the valley there’s a good range of terrain to explore.
