Breakfast every day will consist of a selection of cereals, porridge or muesli with yogurts and fresh French bread with butter and preserves. To drink we have a selection of teas, fruit juice and French coffee. We offer boiled eggs to guests not wanting the cooked breakfast of bacon and fried eggs with Heinz beans or hash browns and mushrooms or tomatoes which is served every day apart from Sunday when we serve croissants and the chalet hosts day off.
Afternoon tea (every day including the chalet hosts day off) is the most informal meal of the day, help yourself to fresh bread, butter and jams, biscuits and home made cake or scones, either eaten at the table or relaxing beside the fire.
Pre-dinner canapes and aperitifs will be served in the lounge exclusively on your arrival night.
Dinner, Chalet Hosts cook a 3-course evening meal. On the final evening of your holiday, your chalet host will produce a 4-course evening meal including a local Cheese board and port. Please note that in all of our chalets, your hosts will eat dinner with guests. To complement your meal we serve free and unlimited good quality Red and White wines during the course of dinner.
If you do have a specific dietary need (eg Vegetarian or Coeliac) or an allergy, please advise at time of booking. Please note that French alpine supermarkets do not have the same range as British supermarkets, therefore if you have very strict dietary needs it is helpful if you can bring a few items.Children aged 11 and under will be served High Tea at around 6pm. This is provided at no extra cost and ensures that your child's normal routine is not disturbed: soft drinks or milk are served with the meal. It also ensures that adults can enjoy their evening meal, which is served at 8pm. If you have booked a whole chalet then you can eat together.
